Fishing was very respectable today on the blackfish grounds. Plenty of limits around the boat today. Some anglers had their limits within the first hour of fishing. Single hook rigs seemed to produce best today with the very strong tide we had on the grounds from the full moon. Pool fish was around 8 lbs. There will be NO TRIP TOMORROW 11/26 due to inclement weather. Our next scheduled trip will be Wednesday.
11/18/18
Today’s blackfish trip saw decent results. The weather was picture perfect and the water finally seems to be starting to clear up, which should make for good fishing in the upcoming few days. We had the best action on our first two drops of the day, and several anglers managed their limits within just the firsthour of fishing. The rest of the day was slower but we ended up with a respectable catch. For thanksgiving week will be adding Tuesday to our sailing schedule. We also plan on sailing Wednesday. No trip on Thursday and we will resume fishing on Friday.

Quick update for the weekend: the weather looks like it will be calming down, and we plan on sailing both Saturday and Sunday for blackfish, leaving the dock at 6am. Please call or reserve online if you plan on sailing with us this weekend.

We are out right now and will be reporting back with our results later. For now we are thinking about sailing tomorrow if we have enough interest, since it is looking like one of the only good weather days of the week. Please call if you would like to come out tomorrow.
11/8/28
Today’s trip saw very respectable results. B day’s end, we were dangerously close to our full limit. Constant action on every drop, with plenty of bent rods throughout the day. Huge numbers of short blackfish kept anglers busy between keepers. Pool fish was around 8 lbs. As of right now, Saturday’s weather is not looking good, but Sunday is looking like a go. Please call ahead to check in and reserve a spot if you plan on joining us on upcoming trips.
10/4/18
Fishing was decent on today’s blackfish trip. Not the red hot action we’ve had recently but still a good day all-in-all. Got off to a slow start but moved around and checked it some new bottom and found a good bite on the third drop of the day in some cleaner water. Plenty of limits and the pool fish was 9.5 lbs.
10/31
Another banner trip today. Great weather and excellent fishing with a full boat limit. Nothing huge today with the biggest around 8 lbs but nonstop action on every drop throughout the day. Water was still a bit dirty from the storm but the fish didn’t seem to mind. Tomorrow is looking like last good weather day for the week so come on down for some good ol’ fashioned tog flogging.
10/26/18
Todays blackfish trip was not quite as hot and heavy as yesterday, but still quite good. It was a classic case of the haves and have-nots. Some anglers fared very well, while others struggled to dial in to the bite. By day’s end we were very close to our boat limit, but not quite there. High hook had 12 keepers (ORL) and everyone had at least one or two in the box.
10/25/18 Blackfish Kickoff
Our blackfish season started with a bang today! A light crowd of anglers were treated to very steady fishing throughout the entire trip. The fish were chewing on every drop and we ended the day with a full boat limit of blackfish with the biggest being around 7 lbs. High hook had over 20 keepers (ORL.)
10/23/18 SCHEDULE UPDATE
We will officially be switching over to Blackfishing on Thursday 10/26. The boat will be sailing Wednesday-Sunday at 6 AM. Fishing is picking up in a big way and we’re looking forward to getting started togging on the big boat. We had a charter on the Jeanie B today and it was one stop shopping, full boat limit and back to the dock early. Please call ahead or reserve online if you’re interested in getting in on the action!
