Half day trips over the last few days has been relatively slow. A handful of seabass and fluke but overall the fishing has been very sub-par. This is normal for this time of year as we usually experience a lull in action in mid to late August on the half day grounds when the water is at its peak temperature. Fishing around the island on the other hand has been great, with loads of nice fluke and an all you can eat buffet of jumbo seabass. The sunset special on Sunday was very good, with a full limit of seabass and several fluke limits around the boat.
