Fishing the last few days have been quite eventful. Sunday afternoon’s sunset special was good, with several limits of both fluke and seabass. Some didn’t fare as well as others but those who were able to dial in on the bite left with hefty bags of fillets. Bucktails and whole squid were the key to victory. Monday we had a full day charter and the bite was slightly more relaxed than the night before, but still quite good. The day started with a very slow drift and some anglers working Bucktails had their limits within the first couple hours. Later in the day the drift picked up and made for a great last few drifts. We would like to note that this upcoming weekend, the morning trips are booked for private charters both Saturday and Sunday. We will be sailing open boat for Saturday afternoon’s half day and Sunday afternoon for the sunset special.
