Another slow day of fishing today. Weather was great as were the drift conditions, but the fish seemed to be absent from their usual haunts. We tried numerous spots throughout the day and found the same results everywhere. There seems to be an obvious lull in the action going on at the moment, and this is something that occurs every season. The fish are on the move and it’s only a matter of time before they settle back in and start to chew again. The good news was many of the spots that were infested with dogfish a few days ago were dog-free for the most part. Tomorrow’s another day and we plan on sailing at 7.
