Decent fluke fishing on today’s trip, the bite was not red hot but productive nonetheless. High winds made for a lightning fast drift which required very heavy sinkers to hold bottom. We covered lots of ground and encountered some very impressive specimens of the flat variety. High hook had four keepers. The hero of the day was one of our regular customers, Mike, who decked a behemoth 12.5 lb Jurassic floormat. Tomorrow’s trip is canceled due to inclement weather, but we plan to resume fishing on Tuesday.
