February 7, 2012 The Block Island Cod bite is ON which is great news for anglers looking to catch Winter Cod. The month of January was slow fishing due to the unusually warm water temperatures. Based on last weekend’s results of the Seven B’s fishing trips, the conditions for great Cod fishing have finally come together. Plans are to sail Friday, Saturday and Sunday and potentially other days if there is customer interest and the weather permits. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the office. Current sailing time is 5:00 AM returning around 3:30 PM. Don’t miss out on this year’s Cod fishing.
